Feature wall staining

We have a 5 year old plaster home with some feature areas in Black Stained Cedar, these got a couple of good coats when new but have been left and are now looking rather hungary and in need of another couple of fresh coats in places (especially on the north face), I also have a wooden garden shed that needs staining to match. I'm fussy and don't want any Dark stain on the Light Plaster.
