This guy is such a waste of time completely stuffed us around, gave us a price then when we went to accept he had changed it, said he forgot to add GST when he was at out property. Then no response to our request about starting when he had stated. 4 days later a random text Saturday night saying he was starting Wednesday? Then After waiting all that time Wednesday came and he cancelled.... very poor very unprofessional, just glad now he had not done job, if it was anything like his actions up until now....

"Tradesmen stay clear of this man - George Lancaster. I quoted his job on the 8th March. I quoted him 2 prices $1540 +gst for 1 roof section and $850+gst for other part. I had written the quoted prices on the back of my business card and gave it to him. He posted on builders crack (11th March) that he had lost my card so there is no proof of me changing the price. George wanted me to to cut out builders crack and do the job for cash. I declined his offer on the 12th March. He got the message and accepted the quote. Why accept a quote when you think I was doing a shifty on you and changing the price. Don't moan now!! Four days it took him to accept our quote which in this time we were unable to meet the agreed day. He accepted the new start date of the 20th March on the 13th March. Perfect opportunity to decline if he wasn't happy, don't you think!! So it should be clear what the start date is.... On the 14th March there is a message on builders crack asking when are you starting? Monday? Blow me over....this guy is a muppet. On the 16th I responded by text I would be there on the 20th. This message was four days prior to starting the job. This is more than enough notice which ever way it is communicated. Again I got no response ... 19th March I tried to call George at 9.17 am. He answered said hi then hung up on me. When I called back at 9.18am it went straight to answer phone. No returned call. 3.32 pm I tried to contact him again and again it went to answer phone. I left a message that I was cancelling the job since there was no communication. Made builders crack aware of the situation at 5.56 pm on the 19th March. On the 20th you post all this bullshit . Thank goodness I removed myself from your dream world."
