My front door is solid Kauri. Currently have a schlage deadlock, 40mm bore hole (70mm back set). Wish to fit Yale digital lock, which requires drill to for 54mm bore hole. Prefer soon. Also some electrical work, replacing exterior light fittings with new.

Looking at 3 Doorknobs. 2 of 3 Exterior knobs ( toilet and shower room) not working properly which may be attributed to the latch. Ideally, we salvage the doorknobs by fixing the issue. If we need to replace the entire system, that's fine and builder to provide the materials. 3 of 3 doorknobs - self installed and just need some proper tightening. didn't get it right.
