Remove and trim overgrown plants for exterior path and steps

I have a path and wooden steps leading to my property. They are obstructed by plants and bushes growing between the steps and hanging into the path. I would like the plants pulled out under the steps and trimmed back along the path so that the passage is clear and no plants are sticking out through the steps.
