Creekside backyard landscaping

We are planning a full renovation for our property and need help with landscaping the creekside backyard and a small driveway patch in the front. For the backyard, we are looking for low maintenance and effective soil erosion control for a 20—to 22-metre stretch of land. Water is constantly flowing through the creek, and the water level rises during heavy downpours. I am looking for options and ideas with quotes for a Gabian basket or retaining wall with rocks or filling up with dirt and low maintenance plantation that is good for land near the creek. Note: no direct access for diggers or machinery.
