Front yard landscape design

We are keen to get a landscape design plan (not construction) for our front yard. The space is about 50sqm. Attached is a photo of the space - you will note that the house is slightly lower than the footpath and also that the front door is around the far side of the house past the veranda. Also attached is a photo showing the kind of white block-work I quite like the look of.
