Landscaping loose earth

We need some loose earth and rocks removed. Our house is accessed by a staircase and it is surrounded by rock walls, but one side is more earth than rock and with all the rain, there is a lot of loose earth and rocks...that can fall. We would like someone to come and help us to have a look at removing the loose earth back to the rock or back to a point where it won't fall onto the stair well below. Not a long job, just a bit tricky (photos show, but is easy to access from other side not shown)...and so may need a bit of thought on how to best approach it.
