Water damage on storage ceiling

Hello, I moved into my new house about a month ago, and I'm noticing that there is water damage getting progressively worse in my storage room under the stairs. From what I can see, there is puckering of the tiber and drywall. I'm not sure where the source of the leak is. I've provided some photos: 1. Photo of the room 2. Close up of damage on drywall 3. Close up of damage on wood on the door frame. 4. Extent of damage The storage area ceiling is low enough so you don't have to use a ladder. I would like someone to come by and give me a quote for the cost of finding the leak and repairing the damage.
