I have recently gotten rid of an old rear-vented wall-mounted dryer which was inverted and ducted through the bathroom wall (joining into the ducting pipe for the extractor fan), then through a bedroom wardrobe and along the ceiling of the bedroom, to the exterior wall. The venting kit wasn't particularly secure and there was a lot of duct tape used to try to keep it in place, and there was still some condensation and lint in the bathroom when it was used. I'd like someone to take a look and advise whether the existing venting is fit-for-purpose – and if it is, recommendations of the best type of dryer and venting kit to buy. If it is still fit-for-purpose then I will order a new dryer and would like it installed with venting kit.
