kitchen drawer

We have a drawer comes with an in-built knife holders, a knife has got jammed and we can no longer open the drawer. It's hard to explain so it's easier to explain on site. We have tried to hook the knife out but without any success. I am thinking potentially we will need to rip the drawer open then retrofit a new one. the top drawer is stuck as shown on photo. Would appreciate if anyone can help us.
