Hanging a clothes drier in garage

Job description

General Handyman Tasks
Wellington

Published: 8 December 2016

I had to get a new dryer and it needs to be hung where the old one was, above the washing machine, in the garage.. The previous drier was vented straight out that back wall, so there is a hole there already. However the new drier outlet is in a different position so it LOOKS like the drier output and the existing hole is about 10cm offset. So if a flexible tubing can be used to get it to join up, then that would be great. If a hole needs to be cut it's a cinder block wall. It would then need to move/replace the outer vent and block up the existing hole. Making it all look 100% is not necessary, but neat and water tight would be needed.
