General handyman jobs

Job description

General Handyman Tasks
Wellington

Published: 14 January 2012

The steps up to my house need attention, as some are cracked or crumbling. Repairing them with epoxy might be the best solution. Check and clean guttering. My weatherboard house was fairly recently painted, but there are a few touch-up jobs where unseen rusty nails have bled into the paintwork. I've sprayed these with rust repellant, but some boards need to be sanded and repainted to cover. Also, I had the nails on my coloursteel roof replaced by screws last year, and some screws are visible from the bottom, and need to be cut off and the punctured areas touched up with paint. This is at quite a high point, but reached by an extension ladder -and the ground below is flat. I would also like my wooden front door sanded back, and either oiled or painted, whichever is more weatherproof. If anyone's able - there's also a small amount of tree trimming to do.

Russell did some very good work for me, and was totally reliable. He always arrived when he said he would, and was pleasant and approachable at all times. He is eager to please the customer, flexible in his approach, and steady in his work. I will call him again if the opportunity arises, and I also recommend him to others.
