Gutter fix

The end of our roof gutter has broken away from the house as the plastic attachment has broken. At this stage only a couple of the plastic attachments have snapped but as the gutter moves in the wind it's like more will snap in time. The plastic attachment parts are no longer available for this type of guttering so I'm looking for a temporary solution to prevent the gutter moving. It could be as simple as drilling a hole through the gutter and fastening it to the side of the house. Though happy have suggestions.
