I recently found out the baseboard between the shower and toilet is damp. We called a handyman to have a look and they have sealed the shower with new silicone. I think that helped because previously, the wood where the baseboard used to be was wet. Now it’s much better… the repair was done on Tuesday and it’s now Friday. But the ground where you put the baseboard is still damp/wet…? I put a tissue overnight in that gap and it’ll be wet the next morning. Is this just in the process of drying? I wonder if someone has other opinions on fixing?
