General house jobs

A corner of wallpaper needs to be glued down 1. There is a crack in a door frame that needs filling 2. A shallow hole in laundry door needs to be filled and sanded 3. Some drawers walk in wardrobe need reattaching

General house maintenance

Four steps into house are unstable, and need possibly replacing, or stabilising Curtain rail needs stabilising. The support bracket has fallen off Piece has fallen out of the ceiling. The ceiling is very high, and one section of beading in the apex of the roof fell down. There is a crack in the bedroom ceiling

All the Certified work has been done. Just need to come and install the mixer, vanity,stuff in bathroom,toilet and kitchen. Can be done by a handyman.

Dartboard backboard

i would like someone to build us a back board for a dartboard potentially out of a wooden pallet (havnt got a wooden pallet yet) and attach it securely in our garage. We really dont want our walls wrecked by the darts! i have attached a photo of our garage back wall and some inspiration for dartboard backs.

New floor in boat

Decking Repair

I have a Fyran 540 Horizon aluminium boat. I have stripped the old ply floor and require a new floor to be fitted. Open to products but like the teak look. Could be ply with teak style overlay.

General home handyman needed

We have a number of smallish jobs around the house that we need a handyman to help with, e.g. putting up shelves, adding shelves to a hot water cupboard, fixing a sticky door, e.t.c. There is probably around 6-8ish hours of work.

We require a builder to replace rotten weatherboard. Also we need someone to take a look at what is causing soft spot in the ceiling and fix it. And would a builder be able to hang a large heavy mirror onto wall inside?

Hang internal doors

Need a handyman to hang two internal bedroom doors. Will supply doors and hardware. Need the hinges fitted to door and rebated into door frame, and fitted with dummy door handles (with the push in latches). The door handles won't have a spring mechanism. Estimated about 2-3 hrs work.

Gate solution to keep the dogs in - welder/metalworker needed!

Hi, my dogs keep escaping through my garden gate. It is iron with large spacing between the posts. I tried tying up some chicken wire with some 22 gauge wire and they still managed to pull a bit off and one got out. My idea is to weld a piece of thin sheet metal 880H x 915W roughly to the inside of the gate so they can no longer break through. Excuse the shoddy photo. Temporarily blocked with a paver and garden bin! haha

URGENT QUOTE required by 12 January to replace a floor joist and cross beam under house at 5 Longfellow Street, Te Aroha, prior to a conditional offer to buy going unconditional. Work can be done at a suitable time, but a quote needed so that the costs can be negotiated prior to settlement.

Need a welder and fabricator to create steel fence panels. The length of fence is 31 m and 2.5 m fence panels are required . The fence panels will have to be 1.8 m high.
