Small retro window repair or replace

Approx 81 long by 50 wide, single panel lounge window was accidently broken by a child. Hole in the glass is approx 4 cm in diameter and has resulted in cracks like sun rays from the hole. The glass itself is quite old and contains a frosted type of design. The landlord has requested the window be replaced exactly .... im not sure how this can be achieved if the glass design is obscure. Hopefully this can be just repaired. Thanks.
