Need new foundation for my old 30s bungalow. Rectangular, approximately 10.8m x 7.3m. Needs 5 rows of new piles to replace old ruined ring foundation and piles. House will have to be lifted high enough to allow either one of two options for the piles to be done: Option 1: 5 rows of 10 piles each row, 150mm poles driven 1.5m into ground, a starter hole 600mm deep could be dug to facilitate job. Poles would then be attached to existing bearers. Old foundation would need to be removed and dumped of course. Option 2: 50 shorter piles, ordinary piles 800mm bgl, embedded in 400mm cube of concrete and requisite number of anchor piles at 900mm bgl.
