fix jack and pack levelling

Job description

Foundation Underpinning
Christchurch

Published: 4 April 2018

I am looking for an LBP to fix EQ (opt out) repairs where jacking and packing were not done to standard. This is likely to include a small (<10?) number of piles but also includes strengthening a bearer by either an additional pile or attaching an additional bearer to the existing one. The noticed defective work includes wedges that are not fixed to the concrete pile and notched bearers not packed on both sides. Other non-complying methods might have been used. Access to the subfloor would be through a large opening in the hallway, the botched repairs are likely to be within a few meters from there. A second access is a standard (i.e. uncomfortably small) manhole in a wardrobe. There is sufficient underfloor space to move around and black polythene foil can be provided to make the job easier and tidier. Please provide a quote to undertake the work and indicate availability. Good coffee can be provided. Thank you Jens Zollhofer
