Very disappointing result. First of all the quoted price was doubled just because he needed more mains cable than anticipated. Secondly, after the job was completed, I ascertained that he hadn't done the two-way switch properly nor had he connected power to the ensuite. Then I had to chase him for the Certificate of Compliance which should have been left when he left the job. Would not recommend his services to anyone.

"PLEASE READ THE RESPONSE FULLY TO UNDERSTAND THE SITUATION BETTER. Firstly my workmanship is second to none and I go out of my way to look after my customers. Please read my other reviews for assurance of this. With regard to the reviews My adherance to cost- The price I discussed with the customer was the cost of the job, so I do not understand his 2/5? My adherance to schedule- I turned up on time and completed the job within the allowed time frame, so I do not understand the 2/5? My workmanship is always of the highest quality, so I do not understand the 3/5? My professionalism was as should be expected, so I do not understand the 2/5? Sadly, by mis-informing me of distance of the cable run to the garage and the sub- switchboard requirements prior to doing the work seems to have allowed the customer to think he was not getting value for money. It is very sad to see a poor review from him, when all it would have taken was a bit of communication if he was unhappy with anything, or if he had any issues with the work. I believe I went well above and beyond to do the work the best way possible! Brief- Unfortunately this customer did not tell me the correct details when pricing and withheld payment after completion without giving any reason. My explanation- I called him on the job, prior to starting work to let him know the additional cost, which he accepted and asked me to proceed . I offered to leave the job at the time if he was not happy with the pricing. He was obviously happy with the price as he asked me to carry on with the job. After the job, I was never contacted to discuss any issues or to rectify any problems, so it is unfair of him to give me a poor review and try to taint my reputation with these comments. With regard to those issues...Whilst doing the other work, I was asked to adjust some wiring the homeowner had done and did so to help him out as the wiring had been done incorrectly! I am unsure as to what he was going on about regarding the ensuite, as he had the wiring done himself. With regard to the certificate...I waited for payment for some time before contacting him to ask why it hadn't been paid. He apologised and eventually paid. I held on to the certificate until after payment as I am legally entitled to do so. (To ensure payment)."
