Aluminium Window Stays to be replaced

We have an Al Window that the stays have become very loose meaning the window falls fully open making it difficult to reach and close. This seems to be the stays becoming slack. So new ones are likely needed. I have had difficulty doing it myself so need someone younger and experienced.
