Cavity slider repair & front door handle

The cavity slider in our bathroom door has dropped and I can't get into the rear fixing to tighten it. May need more of the frame to be removed or door removed from the slider. Our front door handle has broken. A new one needs replacing before painters arrive. Would like both jobs completed within 2 weeks.
