We have three flights of very old concrete steps. We're after some work on one flight of these steps to improve the gradient and condition. The attached photos show these existing steps. Currently there are 18 steps we'd like replaced (17 treads). They run from a concrete landing to a timber landing, both of which we'd like to keep as-is. The existing steps have varying tread depths and risers. One of the bottom-most steps has a tread depth over twice the size of the other steps. So we'd like to add one more step to have 19 steps (18 treads) with a consistent tread depth and riser height. We’d also like to add a 15mm tread projection to each new riser to gain more tread depth. We’ll also need some changes made to the timber handrails to follow the new gradient.
