concrete repair

We have a cracking concrete wall and precast steps (approx 10 steps) that leak water through to hollow cavity below. Steps lead from footpath to house so are pretty important. we'd like advice re repairing cracks and water sealing stairs. Lyall Bay, Wellington. Thanks.
