We need someone to reinstate/resurface an existing concrete pathway in front of a small block of flats in Central Wellington. The existing pathway has settled along its length. The settlement of the slab is up to approx. 110mm in places (see attached photos). A stormwater manhole is located along the length of the pathway (see attached scan). WCC has visited to inspect the stormwater pipe and there doesn’t appear to be any leaks (i.e. so we have eliminated that as a possible cause for the settlement). The quote we would like would be to remove the existing slab and replace it as follows: - Remove the existing concrete slab - Inspect adequacy of underlying soil - Proper compaction and addition of fill material (if required) and re-instate level slab. Please note for quotation purposes that it is possible to park in front of the garages seen in the attached photos plus the private street has adequate parking for contractors during the day.
