Concrete slab for patio

We want a base for laying 15mm tiles in our patio area, approximately 4m x 6m. The area currently has a base partly of concrete, partly of compacted gravel, and is almost level. We want a slight slope away from the kitchen wall, for surface water run-off. I will break up the existing concrete slab (it is too thin and is cracked) and move the rubble out of the way. I want a channel between the kitchen wall and new contrete base for water run-off. Location is Howick, Auckland.
