Gravel surfacing of driveway

I have a driveway that has been formed by a contractor to take trucks up to 7 tonne that is currently bare clay with the camber and drainage all sorted. I need to surface it with gravel before I can start any earthworks on site such as septic tank, water tank, building site etc. The distance is just under 100 mtrs, it is quite steep and the top section (last 45mtrs, first photo) I think needs to be widened to 4mtrs as some of it is only 3mtrs wide. I want to start this work as soon as possible after the settlement date which is the last day of March this year.
