My front path is made of concrete pavers professionally laid 8 years ago on base material and sand. They are laid in a L shape around a raised bed. They were never cemented - only sand in cracks - and now they have slipped and weeds have taken over. I would like all the pavers lifted and re-laid, with a new box frame on two sides to keep them in place, and mortar in gaps to keep weeds down. There should not be any need to cut pavers, as they fit in the existing space, but there may be need of a compactor. See photos for existing condition of path. I can send you a plan of paver layout if you email me. Total area is 11.25 sqm. Will pay $500-$800 for two days' labour, depending on expertise.

Hemi responded to my ad extremely promptly, quoted at my budget and turned up on time. However, he made out that he had a lot more experience than I believe he has, and the work was extremely poorly done. The pavers were laid on concrete very sloppily, and are neither straight or level. One broke while he was working but he didn't tell me, and stuck it in the concrete anyway! He and a mate worked very fast, obviously just wanting a quick cash job. Beware of this guy, he is not what he promises.
