Create a patio/parking area

Hi there, We would like to update an existing paved area outside of the house. It is currently a mixture of terracotta pavers and river stones, but we would like to up date it to all be pavers (new and large) so it could be either a parking area or a patio area (we have doors from the living room that open out on to it). It has to be suitable for parking but aesthetically pleasing enough to act as an outdoor seating/eating area. Can provide photos on request.
