QUOTATION / TENDER TO RE-ASPALT PARKING FOR SHOPPING CENTRE AUCKLAND. Minor civil works and asphalt replacing works for +-27 000 m. square for parking area. The asphalt works to include all the main incoming roadways and the rear of the shops loading areas. where ever currently asphalt exists) to be quoted for as per the broad specifications below. Kindly be advised the Council Consent document and carpark council plans are available. BROAD SPECIFICATIONS FOR CARPARK RE ASPHALT WORKS ( AREA APPROXIMATELY 26 000 M squ) FOR SHOPPING CENTRE IN AUCKLAND 1. New asphalt : area approximately 26 000 metres square to 27 000 m square. 2. Asphalt thickness : 35 mm throughout and 50 mm along the main incoming and outgoing roadway. 3. Remove and dispose the existing curb stones and trees and greenery / trees within the inside of parking area to create a gentle sloping car parking platform. At the trees and curbstones remove soft ground to +- 350 mm below current asphalt level, provide G4 mix as a sub base compact thoroughly. Cut and fill where necessary to create a uniform level throughout to marry in with the current car parking levels in order to achieve the new gentle sloping platform for the carparks. 4. Remove tree at circle and dispose and dig down 1 metre and compact with G4 type sub base mix as above. 5. Reconnect the existing storm water cesspit from the east side of the main retail store to the existing storm water pipe . Remove all asphalt top, grind, remix as necessary and relay 35 mm throughout and 50 mm heavy duty for large delivery trucks on the main arterial roadways. Compact / roll the newly laid asphalt to a high level of compaction standard. Approximately 10% above the current compaction standard as required in car parks particularly where trucks drive off the main roadway and where they deliver goods to the rear of the retail stores. Install ACCO / type drains as indicated along the north side (at the lower end of the slope which fronts onto the main retail store and also install ACCO drains on the east side of the parking area (at the bottom end of the slope in front of smaller retail stores. Connect the ACCO drains into exiting SW (storm water) pipes currently linked to the septic storm water grids /pits. Compact stripped asphalt areas to a high level of compaction standard. Lay new asphalt throughout and compact at 35 mm minimum and 50 mm minimum on the main heavy traffic areas. Asphalt to relay up to side road as well. Once asphalt is re-laid and thoroughly compacted repaint all parking and road lines and road markings as per consent drawings and as reasonably required. Pave walkways as indicated. Concrete walkways in front of the retail store as it is preferable for trolley wheels. Allow contractors to install trolley parking bays in front of the retail store. Install wheal ramps and car bollards as indicated along the walkways. Remove any obstacles from any existing SW piping. Careful not to do not dig up existing cables or piping. Install new lighting poles as indicated. Items to note : New Asphalt area approximately 26 000 metres square to 27 000 m square. Asphalt thickness 35 mm throughout and 50 mm along the main incoming and outgoing roadway. Concrete a +- 250 metre square are in front of a warehouse dispatch to marry in with the existing concrete area. Concrete thickness to be 200 mm thick at 50 mpa hardness x 25 mm stone metal ready-mix steel floated smooth. Preferred date of commencement : February 2022. Works duration : to take 3 or 3,5 months. Works to be done in +- 4 to 5 bites, one area at a time. Trading to be disrupted as little as reasonably possible : Customer walking and parking and access to shops to continue as normal. All N.Z. Health and Safety requirements and all safety measures are to be taken and adhered in order to minimize any possible injury to the general public / shoppers/ visitors etc. The new asphalt laid and parking marking and lines to be completed to a high quality / level/ standard (asphalt to last at least 10 years). Payment to be in draws as agreed up front and as per QS and engineer agreement that work is reasonably up to a good standard. Please call to visit the site whenever convenient.
