Carport concreting

We are wanting to replace the concrete under our carport as a tree root has ripped up the original concrete. The area is about 61sq m and gently slopes towards the driveway. I am keen to explore a drainage channel on the top side of the carport to prevent water flowing through as is currently the case. The concreting would go up to the retaining wall.
