Small patch of drive to re-concrete

As per the photo, a patch of concrete on the drive crossing has been broken and pushed up. I suspect it will need to be removed, the offending tree root chopped out, then new concrete laid. Unless you think you can lift the broken part, and place it back again..? Let me know what you think. Txt --- Thanks.
