Small area of driveway to fill in

Next to our front driveway, there is a small area filled with stones and a small area of grass (please see pictures, which include measurements). This is a nuisance because it fills with water when it rains and becomes a little pond, spreading mud whenever we turn our car into the adjacent space. I am hoping to get this filled in - concrete like the walking path next to it is fine.
