Deck relevelling and support post repair

One of the support deck posts (approx 2m above ground) has slumped due to wet ground movement. This has resulted in 1 support post cracked near the head and has rendered deck unsafe. Remedial repair work is therefore urgent. Cracked post will need to be removed and replaced with a new one. Post depth needs to be 2.5 m below ground. Arrangements underway for temporary acrow prop support. Property is an unoccupied, 1970s bach at 26 Hillside Cr, Matheson Bay (Leigh). Deck was consented and added to bach in 2004. Owner lives in Auckland but will meet tradesman onsite as necessary.
