Deck repairs

We have an existing deck but have an issue with a 4x2 board that is rotting an needs to be replaced - it is bolted to poles which are surrounded by decking so some decking will need to be uplifted to access the nuts. Also one piece of decking is too short and needs to be replaced or another piece added - but it would also be an opportunity to ensure the rest of the desk is robust still. BTW - there is some small interior painting jobs to be done as well if this can be done also would be great but the deck is the focus..
