Looking to have the borer-damaged joists below the dining room and hallway of my residential house replaced. There are approx. 6 joists which need replacing with H1.2 timber joists. There has likely been some house subsidence decades ago, and a previous owner has poured a flooring compound over the floorboards in the dining room to level the floor (see pictures). Ideally, I want these floorboards and compound removed. The goal is to try to return the floor to its original state by packing the replacement joists to be level, and recycling the rimu floorboards (if feasible, the underside of the floorboards are in good condition). The floor area of the dining room (where the compound has been poured) is approx 3030mm x 3700mm. The house in question is c. 100 years old, with most original features remaining - the ambition here is to save as much as possible.
