Job description

House Repair & Maintenance
Hutt Valley

Published: 12 March 2015

Due to the nature of the project, you will be working from a height. Estimate start date of work is early April to coincide with windows installation. Window installers will be using mobile scaffold and I have asked permission from them to use the scaffold for this work. Extent of work is weatherboard replacement where the blue tarps is (used to cover the rotten weatherboards) and above the tarp. The source of the leaks was from the roof which has now been rectified. The end caps of the weatherboards on either side of the balcony will need to be replaced as well. The eave board (1 sheet) and framing below will also need to be replaced. If price is right and provides a great service there would be further work soon after.

Alan is probably one of the best builders I've every dealt with. Professional, proactive and a process thinker. Unfortunately our weatherboard replacement became a bigger job due to rot in the framing which Alan replaced. Also our balcony had to be replaced due to the rot extent. What finished was just an amazing job. We were having other work being done to our house to and Alan in my mind became the site foreman! I would highly recommend Alan and will use again !! Thank you !!
