External door and (part) door frame replacement

I need one side of a door frame replaced (wood has rotted) and hang the new door I have brought. I am not sure what wood to buy, etc. Nor do I have the tools to do the job. The door needs to be replaced as soon as possible. I will need to organise a locksmith also post the job so some planning will be needed.
