Porch Repair Needed

We have purchased a house that has water damage over the small front porch / entrance. This has caused rot in the exterior and interior timber framing. We need the framing and adjacent wooded area repaired or replaced. Unclear how far water damage goes. Through this process we would like to identify the source of the leaking.
