Wee Maintenance Job Needed

We have some boards (Hardy planking?) that need replacing before we paint the house this summer. Only a small job but needs doing. We would also like a step or steps made from some kwila left over after our deck was built, so that we can enter and exit our ranch slider at the side of our house. Also has to be suitable for an elderly dog to access the dog door inserted in the bottom pane of the slider. So not a huge job but would really like this done soon :-)
