We have a non working fireplace in our old villa living room. The fireplace opening into the lounge had previously had a wall of bricks put over it and a gas heater installed through a metal place in the bricks. We would like the bricks taken out and a wooden frame and box installed into the fireplace cavity so that we can paint it and display decorative pieces in it. We would also like you to reinstall the fireplace surround / mantelpiece after the frame and box is installed. I've uploaded 3 photos - (1) what the bricked up fireplace looks like now, (2) something like the kind of end result we are looking for (3) the wooden surround that needs to go back up before we paint everything (its shown upside down on our front porch). If this goes well we may want to do similar with another fireplace that is in a bedroom.

Very pleased. Mike responded very quickly to our ad, came round when he said he would to quote. He sent two guys to do the work who were prompt and helpful, cleaned up well afterwards. It wasn't a big job but it went as planned and we got what we asked for.
