Insurance repair job

First, I require a quote for a job to remake and install fixed shelving damaged by water in the January 27 downpour. An external rain head poured water into my home office. Fixed shelving made of painted MDF has been damaged. The first part of the job would be to remake the shelves from MDF, paint and install them. Second, there will be damage to the ceiling above the shelving, the wall cavity, and the wall lining in the home office. There will also be some damage to the insulation material in the ceiling. The first part of the insurance claim is for contents at replacement value. The second part of the claim is damage to the house. An assessor is on the job. No date is yet set for this assessor to visit the house and do a site inspection. Email me through Builders Crack, and then we can work out what is next. Steve Lovett
