We have a couple of timber areas on the exterior of our house that are rotting. Would be great to get some idea on what's required to repair or replace them. Photos show 3 areas. First 2 photos are at ground level on the frame of our garage door. The wood has rotted quite a lot - spongey under the paint and cracking apart. (Fibre cement cladding next to it has come a little loose too and could need refixing) Opposite side of door the frame seems better but starting to feel soft underneath. Photos 3 and 4 are under the gutter at the rear of the house on one side (single storey). Photo 5 is the other side of the same gutter. Photo 6 is just to show the condition of the wood. This block came from the timber in photo 5. Let me know if you need more photos or measurements. Many thanks, Guy
