Damp floor board replacement

We have a damp floorboard in the bathroom which needs replacement. A building inspector noted that it was a handyperson sized job - damp board removal and replacement as well as some nogs installed. The effected flooring area is under the shower, under bathroom Lino and under hallway carpet. Currently awaiting plumber to repair the leak in shower mixer and then will be ready to proceed with floorboard repair.
