Making an outdoor mud kitchen stronger

We purchased a cheap mud kitchen from k mart for daughter’s birthday in October but I would like to add some wood panels to side and back to make it stronger and adding a few hooks etc to make it more special. Just would like an idea of cost. It’s a fairly simple diy job but I need to keep it a surprise and working on it at home will take me awhile as I am a total diy novice. Or if you can build one from crates with a recycle sink (we can purchase this second hand) then please give us a cost idea. I have posted a photo of a crate mud kitchen. Thank you
