Building inspection stated there was too much movement in one end of my canter levered deck. ( Build in the 70's, permitted). Suggested design flaws. I want to add some support before selling. ( as long as it can be done fast and isn't too expensive!) Suggestion was to add 2 X 200 / side by side timbers half way out of the deck and support by 2 posts. The support timbers only need to be 2000 long and the total height to the deck is 2600. Below the deck is a concrete path with pressed out paving effect. Not sure of how the posts can be neatly fixed at the ground. This frame will be surrounding the main entrance to the house, so must be a very tidy and clean method of installing the support posts to the ground. I'll paint it once completed.

Wish I had used Mike before now because I would have used him for many other projects. Fantastic attitude towards doing the job properly, which you hardly ever see these days. (especially when working to a given quote) Wish all tradesman were this good. Highly recommended.
