Replacing kitchen floor under sink

We had a dishwasher pipe burst under I kitchen sink. Hot water was running for about 40 minutes resulting in a saturated floor beneath, and swollen particle board. Our insurance company AA have advised us that we need to obtain a quote for the job and to ascertain weather the damage is of a gradual nature.
