We have purchased a cedar round hot tub (1530 diameter) which is to be sunken into the deck about 500 deep. I've removed the decking as shown in the picture but need to add in two bearers & posts and remove one bearer and then remove the joists. Will leave the hole as a square to insert the hot tub and then rebuild the decking around the hot tub once installed. Also need to build a base for the hot tub to sit on - hot tub full of water will weight 1,750kgs. This base could be a concrete base or whatever will be sufficient to be a level base for the hot tub.
