picket fence sanding and painting

Job description

General Carpentry
Auckland

Published: 13 October 2012

22 metres of waist-height picket fence plus gate and mailbox needs sanding and painting. An electric sander is available for use. Rambling roses grow through at 2-3 points, so heavy gloves a must - but majority of fence is unobstructed. Sanding between the pickets can only be done by hand and it is laborious work - estimate maybe 2-3 days. Fence is in basically good nick i.e. not rotting - about 17 years old. Work can only be done in fine weather and if need be, it can be done in segments.

Was the most expensive of the quotes - by far - but also the most professional, so I'm expecting a very professional job .

"Maggie was very good to work For. There were extra costs involved, because we had to hire a air less paint spray gun. It's the best way to do a picket fence. Because you can spray in between the pickets. But also you use extra paint because of the over spray. I feel the job was done to the budget, with in a usual time frame and was a good quality. Thanks maggie"
