deck repair

There is a rotten beam at the base of my deck on top of the concrete piles (5 or 6) that the jack studs or joists sit on top of, some of which are rotten as well. the top bearer is good, but I need the rotten wood and joists replaced. The rest of the deck is satisfactory, though old. I just want the deck made safe.

Hayden did a great job of repairing my deck. He knew exactly what he was doing and managed to do all the work in one day which I found very impressive. He found some more wood that needed replacing but did not charge me extra. There was confusion over the initial quote which I read as including gst, but the gst had not been added so it cost me more than I expected. However, given the great job Hayden did, I am pleased I stayed with him and did not go for a cheaper quote.
