Doorstep repair

The side door to the garage has a wooden doorstep which has rotted through and is allowing water into the garage, causing further damage. We are renters, and our landlord has asked us to organise the repairs. We need the doorstep fixed, but it would also be great to have an assessment/recommendation about the state of the garage overall, to share with our landlord. We also have some guttering that needs a new bracket but that isn't a problem if the tradie can't do both. Thanks!
